The museum displays soil monoliths with accompanying data including a full profile description, soil chemical and physical data, and information on the landscape and land-use. The museum has two sections:
- Soils of the World
- Soils of the Netherlands
In the Soils of the World all soil groups of the World Reference Base for Soil Resources are on display, including information on their extent, main properties and soil processes.
